Your only options at this point are to upgrade to the SVN version of RunUO 2.0 or tell your users to stop patching before they reach 6.0.1.7.
If you are not able to download the SVN files and compile your own SVN server then your easiest way is to tell your users to stop the patch around 5.0.9.1. I suggest this version because it is also before the map changes. As for a how to on the SVN here is a collection of links that I tend to spread around. The SVN code is not an official "stable" release, although it is pretty stable at this point. Most people choose to switch to the SVN version to receive the code updates and to allow newer clients to connect. The SVN code is still made by the RunUO team, you just have to compile it your self. The SVN version is where the team stores updates and fixes to RunUO which they made public so others can take advantage of those updates and fixes without waiting for a full release of the next RunUO version. SVN Topic: RunUO 2.0 SVN open to public, Update on 2.0 Release Easy Compile Guide: Easy how to compile new server...... Tortoise SVN: tortoisesvn.tigris.org A Guide To Tortoise SVN One way to compile your own version of the server exe is to use visual studioC# 2005 Express Edition to compile. As an alternative Mark says you can compile it with just the .net framework in this topic: http://www.runuo.com/forums/server-s...clean-svn.html This is a helpful guide to compiling with VS 2005: Easy how to compile new server...... Another Option is that you can download a pre-compiled version from Arte's XmlSpawner site: XMLSpawnerFan -> Latest RunUO 2.0 server - rev 264 You would still need the SVN client to pull down the updated scripts. Also in case you need it here is a link to the zlib32 that needs to be in your RunUO folder: http://www.runuo.com/mark/zlib32.dll There are lots of topics around with SVN compile help if you need more help. |

Im not going to pretend to know why. In the end i just put my old one back in.Im not saying anything derogatory about Mark's zlib, I don't know why my pc's server had a puke session over it , probably something with my pc, just make sure you backup your old one just in case.![]()
