Hehe actually I finally ended up trying that but it crashed it. But I was under the impression there was more I needed to do from runuo itself. Such as name the server etc.

are you behind a router ...and if so did you change the port forwarding ......

did you put the ip in the serverlist.cs .....

theres alot of things you need to check out ........

go to search and look this up .....

routers and port forwarding for dummies its a really good step by step how too of setting it up .....

as for the naming and such ....are you connecting thru connectuo (which is down at the moment) ......doesnt mean you cant connect but you cant register and such ....

Im using razor to connect. At the moment I just want this server to run locally. Do I really need to mess with the firewal to play on the same machine?

Yea I dont get it. As you can see from my first post here it is assigning 127.0.0.1 as the ip. Yet when I use razor and use that ip and port to connect, it connects then when I login with the admin account I created I get that error.

Ok so it seems as though my client wasnt patched far enough. However if I get it patched up enough to not get that error I seem to get nothing but d/c due to encryption. I have tried full patch and 6.0.5.0 both with encryption errors. 6.0.3.0 I still get the original error. So I guess I will now try 6.0.4.0.

Sigh...anything before 6.0.5.0 and I get the original error, at 6.0.5.0 + I get encryption problems. Maybe the client version isnt causing the original problem and it just doesnt get that far with the other versions due to the encryption issues.

Does it on a fresh install. Have only tried it on razor. Dont see why it would be an issue, I have connected to other peoples server just fine with it.

Hmm I havnt opened ports on router or did anything to firewall but should it make a difference on same machine?

Also im using runuo 2 rc1 and im on vista 64 bit. If I only knew exactly what this means....
