Default Unable to open zip files

I use WinZip 11.0 and I have no trouble downloading and opening zip files from any other source, this is the only site I'm having difficulty with.
Has anyone else had trouble with these files and have you found a solution?

I never use Winzip. I have never had any problem opening ANY archive using Izarc, unless the archive was truly corrupt. I HIGHLY recommend it, and it is absolutely FREE. Visit Izarc.org to get the latest download.

Default I've tried winzip, I've tried Izarc without success

I am also unable to open zip files downloaded from the RunUO forums, files that i've downloaded a couple weeks ago open without any problem. but files that i've downloaded within the last couple of days or so, will not open with winzip or Izarc. Says the files are corrupt. Files that I downloaded a couple weeks ago, and can open without problem, if redownloaded, they are corrupt.

This is one of those weird issues that is affecting only certain people. You would think that if it was a vBulletin issue, it would affect everyone, but I've had absolutely no problems with any of the files from the script release forum. I wonder if there is some other commonality with people that are experiencing this issue that we just aren't seeing.

Default I figured out how to open them

I finally figured out how to open the files, what I did was used IZarc, extracted the file, saved it, then added .zip to the end of the extracted file (had to change settings on computer to view full path, of known file types). then when i double clicked the renamed file, it opened without difficulty.

Extra work, when I was used to being able to view downloaded .zip files, before saving it to my computer.

WOW! You are correct. Files are double-zipped. WTF? I thought I was going nuts. Every file I downloaded said it was corrupted, but the file inside is really the zip file I was looking for, and like you said, just have to rename it with .zip on the end, and bingo-bango, it works!

I've downloaded and installed dozens of custom scripts here over the past 3 months or so. But for the past couple of weeks they've been corrupt. I'm going to try the fixes listed here tonight. I use the default Windows unzip for the .zip files and 7-Zip for the .rar files.

That's exactly right. The file in the top directory of the archive is another archive with no extension on it.

Maybe this is the result of some server move or something.
