Older client version with RunUO 2.0 RC2/SVN - RunUO

Hello all,

A couple of weeks ago I began to create a RunUO 2.0 RC2/SVN server on a linux box using Mono. I have managed to get it up and running but have run into some roadblocks and am considering wiping the linux box and putting XP in instead.

My question is, if I go XP, can I have a RUNUO RC2/SVN server and still use an older client (5.0.6.c) on the serverside [so my users could also connect with 5.0.6.c], or would I have to use on older version of RunUO (RC1 or RC0)?

I don't know for sure about 5.0.6. But I had major problems with 5.0.9 and RC 2. Strangely enough the much older 4.0.11 client is working perfectly for me. (Still running RC 2)

Thanks Jasonntn. I've got users who are using 5.0.6.c on other shards and dont want to update their clients to the 6 series. So you are using 4.0.11 on your server with RC2 and that's working OK?
