Holy Cow !!, Great program, but damn I give up.

I"m running RunUo 2.0 RC2, with Neruns Distro (the latest I think). I've followed the directions damn near to the letter, but the only active spawn I have anywhere on the entire landmass are the champs, and I have to manually switch those to active. All dungeons are completely empty of monsters, the spawn points are all layed out though, set to active, but nothings happening. The only way I can get to Peerless locations is to use the coords, and then they've completely empty. Should I just give up, declare myself an idiot and move on?

While in game did you type [spawner
it pops up a menu, thats the way you spawn the worlds.

Yes I did, it sets up the spawn points, which are clearly visible, and they all say active, but none of them are spawning anything. The only movement on my shard are the Town npcs, and the champ spawns (if I activate them manually).

Did you try running by any of them ? Because it usually requires you to run by them to start spawning.

Ok, somehow the dungeons are spawning now, but the Peerless areas are all completely dead, and there aren't any spawn points either.

Does it support it in the spawner ?

Yes, each location had a checkmark beside it, however, I'm not able to use [go and select any peerless location. They're not listed as dungeons/cities/shrines/etc..

Are you saying you can't get to those locations, or that theres just nothing spawned there ?

I can only get to the Peerless locations if I use the coords, but once I get there, they're completely empty. No spawn points on the ground anywhere. But when I run Spawner, and select like, Malas, itshows Doom, North, OrcForts, South, Vendors, Citadel, Labyrinth. "Spawn It" is checked, but Doom, Citadel and Labyrinth are spawnless.

I'm currently at the entrance to the Labyrinth, but I had to Coord hop to get here. The front door is gone, so I can't get inside...I just don't get it. The scorpion spawn out front is running, and the Wandering Healer is here.

I've got no Heartwood entrance, and no NPC Quest givers...arrghhh!!!!

Try [spawner when the menu comes up, right on top says create world gen (or something similar).

Create World Gump, did that too. It's like somethings missing/corrupt, but man it's frustrating..

The heartwood entrance wont be there with the distro you got, you'll have to do that yourself (same with Twisted wield and some of the peerless).


what i did was use [m tele and teleported myself around the map on each of the facets (found some cool things). Wrote down the cords and made my own teleporters as i remembered them from my OSI account.

Ahh, hrmm, but what about the spawns? I see folders for all of the peerless inhabitants, but none of the locations are spawning or even have visible spawnpoints, and I can't use [add and find any of the peerless mobiles..

Malgannis has the whole ML system here in the custom script releases. It has everything your looking for to be totally OSI/ML updated. Look in the Custom Script Release section. It is however a very extensive system to incorporate into your shard, and requires extensive editing/merging of scripts, but welllll worth it.

You don't have to compile it, someone posted a compiled version of it someway into the thread. If he just scans through the thread he should be able to find it. I can't remember what page it is on.

I really appreciate everyones help, but now i'm having the "dbl compressed" issue, where I can't unzip the files. I've read the other threads explaining in detail, but I keep getting the same "unknown/damaged" file.

Yes it is very well worth it I have it and also have the latest Nerons Distro and they work very well togther. It is alot of work but very very well worth it.

My god why does this have to be so hard? I have winrar, I"ve read the posts on how to open zip files. I got Tortoise SVN and it won't work. All I want to do is start an ML shard that works. Is Vista the problem here? Is this really some secret society that I'm not a member of? Could someone please tell me in a step by step way, how to do this? *starts forming a noose in the rope*

I even tried downloading it with GetRight, and it says "it appears to be a Websight". I"m done guys/gals. Thanks for the help though.
