Need Help - Custom Map - RunUO

I need some help getting a custom map into the game. So far everything I do doesn't work.

replace the map in your uo directory that Runuo uses by your custom map. Make sure you (and your players) haven't patched past 5.0.9.1 or you will have to modify the altitude and size of your maps since OSI changed stuff. Your players will then need to download your map and replace their old one.(just like you did) You will also need to change the regions.xml in your runuo/data to match your map. Also, i think you (and your players) will have to replace your statics and staidx in the uo directory and possibly others. This is all that comes to my mind for now...

You need to explain your problem in more detail if you want people to be able to help you...

Also, next time you might want to make a search first, try searching: custom map

Well so far I have installed a ML client unpatched. I tried dragon, worldforge and others. Nothing worked. I have a .bmp map made. That is about it.

???? What did you use to pick the colors you used in the BMP you made?

you cant just open MSPaint an say ok... green is for grass, grey is for rock, etc etc...

I used a color chart that I found with one of hte programs.

did you convert the bmp file to a mul file?
