Snow on my custom map?? - RunUO

Hello- ive tinkerd with UO off and on for years.. as of late i desided to try to continue the headachs i once had with the game.. i have a problem at hand tho.. i patched up to uoml_win32_5-0-8-1.rtp. after the switch of all the good .mul files to my custom world.. i find snow where grass/forest use to be.. its everywhere. now im lil confused as to why?

is this actually a patch issue? im running a 2d client also btw.. any direction would be of great assistance..

A few years ago EA did a patch which turned everywhere into a winter wonderland... think it was for one xmas (2003-4 maybe) but i'm not sure, anyway sounds like your at that patch.

Not sure what you can do other than try different patch files.

There was a patch (I think) that adds some seasons. I've seen a few shards that periodically have patches of snow on the ground in places. Nothing too major, just patches here and there.

ahh thanks fellas.. appricate the help. ill defently try a diffrent patch.. any suggestions on the best patch that supports ML art work ... with out the winter festival patchs?

5.0.7.1 was the patch where the client was adjusted to hardcode certain terrain tiles to display as snow. Not positive when they turned it back. I think somewhere in the 6.x series.

6.0.0.0 is the client that destroyed Haven and started building New Haven.

6.0.6.2 broke UORice and SpyUO.

Think they're working on getting to patch 6.6.6.0.... the patch to break harddrives, spirits & bank accounts all at the same time?
