Firstly, make sure you have DirectX 9b installed, .NET framework 1.1, and managed libraries - there are links to all 3 of these in the downloads section in the Krrios Client writeup. Then, download the Client, and unzip - when unzipping, you MUST use folder names. If you don't know how to unzip using folder names, let me know what zip program you use and I can help - I use zip genius, www.zipgenius.it - freeware zip client that does ALL archive types I have seen
![]() Anyways, once unzipped, run the client.exe in the place you unzipped to. You will see a "new server" link on the left, click on that, add in your shards name, ip address and port that it uses. Then, click on your shards name, and add in your username/password. Krrios Client should automatically get a list of the characters you have on that username and add then to a submenu under your server name. Then it's simply holding you mouse over your server name, then when your acc name appears, holding over that, then clicking on your character when it appears. When you log in, before altering keyboard macroes, type in ". charmacros" first, to set individual macros for your character. Do the same for each character you have. Then have fun! My speed ingame on dialup is like 200% faster at least with this client, it is awesome! |

Extract using folder names:
In ZipGenius, when you hit the "extract" button, there are 3 tabs halfway down the window - Files To Extract, Existing Files, and Options. Click on the "Options" tab, and there is a tickbox called "Use Subfolders Info". Tick that, and when you extract will use the folders existing in the zip file. That could be what is giving you the "unhandled exception" error, or it may be you need to install/reinstall the latest version of directX and managed libraries, which are in the downloads section linked in the writeup about Krrios Client. To get your servers IP address, simply email the server admin if they do not already display it in their FAQ section, or, if they have a file download area, check in the "login.cfg" file, that will also have the server IP followed by he port. An example of how it's written in a login.cfg file: ;Loginservers for Ultima Online ;Do not edit this file or patching will fail! Always save a backup. LoginServer=210.11.216.24,2593 This is the login.cfg of Draconia where I play. The server IP address is the 210.11.216.24, and the port number is the 2593. Once you Click on the "New Server" option in the login window, you should see something like this: ![]() Enter in your servers name in the top field, then into in your servers IP in the second field, and finally your servers port number in the third field. Once done, click on OK. You will then see on the left hand side, your servers name. Click on that, and you will see the following: ![]() Enter in this your account details on your shard. In the name section, simply enter any name you wish to refer to it as, in the title section add in your shard username for your account, and in the password field, your shard password for your account. Then click on ok, and wait a minute. Krrios client should automatically sinc with your server. Once this is done, hold your mouse over your shard name, and a sub-window should appear with your account name. Move your mouse to hover over your account name, and, if it worked OK, you should then see all your characters on the shard. Simply click on the character you wish to play on, and it should auto log you in! Of course, it may take a few minutes in the first login, as it has to do a few things first, but, once it's finished it's business, away you go! Hope this helps a bit cheers. |
