I seem to have this problem now and then.. not sure what causes it since I dont have anything running other than Trillian (an instant messanger client).

Well I played with the general settings of my card since I usually have everything cranked up all the time. Actually I found that when the slow downs came.. the mouse went smoother with it all set to "performance"... though for my card (ATI Radeon 9000) that seems to set most everything to let the game/program descide how to set things up.

The mouse isn't always slowed down for me either.. its like a spike now and then.

With out the setting to know.. I must ask.. Does the mouse "run in a separate thread" in this client?? I ask because the mouse slow down acts like this in the OSI client when that setting is NOT checked in its options.
