Not displaying monsters? - RunUO

Hey

I installed uo from a 1999 CD, needless to say a pre AOS and all that stuff CD... and in Kriios I cant see giant spiders... and i cant see flesh golums... and a number of other monsters or NPCs... wtf do i do? I cant fight in a doungen because I get trapped or poisoned or something and cant fight back... haha So help me out if ya know how to display the graphics....

or should i install UO from a newer CD? (I dont have one, but i could download UO?)

you need to atleast patch your UO client to the latest version. I recommend getting AOS tho or at the very least LBR.

yeah I patched UO all the way. is there any other way of fixing it besides getting lbr or aos? like maybe just getting the graphical files i might need by themselves?

ya. ive got the same problem. im on a uo:r cd install. i dunno if thats the problem or not. but i can't see some monsters, it seemed to me though, that it was a client issue, not me having the proper graphic, though, im going to install an aos install, and see if that helps.

also, im having that intense client lag where i freeze for a half second. its rather annoying.
