Mondain's Legacy/Problem ?

Does this client work with mondain's legacy.

Everytime i run it after like 2 secs my computer starts to do that loading/clicking noise repeatedly.
I try to add a new server and i get this.

"An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Input string was not in a correct format."

Then it gives me the option of "Continue" or "Details"

I have done all of this:

1.) I installed DirectX 9c Redistributable
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

2.) I installed the dotnetfx.exe (ver 1.1 without SP1)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

3.) I installed the "old" DirectX 9b Managed Libraries
http://www.runuo.com/krrios/mdxredist.msi

4.) I installed the 2D UO Client and updated it fully

5.) I downloaded the Krrios Client
http://www.runuo.com/krrios/playuo_b13_r1.zip

6.) Extracted the Krrios Client to a subdirectory in my UO folder.

7.) Ran the Config.exe and filled in the resolution, server details, my login details and set Encryption Fix to True, since I play on a non-OSI server.

8.) Ran the Client.exe, logged in fine and everything worked (although I still have to figure out how to get my hues to work )

Hope this helps someone, I'm glad it worked for me first time. (Any advice on the hues wil help, thx)

Except 3.) because when i download it, it doesn't work. It just says preparing to install then dissapears? Is this my problem or do I need a different client ?

That is your problem. You should try reinstalling DX9, then installing the managed libraries again.

well its still not working and i think its just the nature of mxredist to install without giving clear indication that it has done so.

my computer makes the loading/clicking noise continuously when i start the client up. can anyone help, the error when i try to add server is above.
