I have the 2.0 framework and directx 9.0c. Reinstalled them and such etc.

I have an ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series

I've just installed new drivers for my graphics card. The date under the drivers section is 1/22/2008.

I've extracted the zip to my desktop and simply ran it from there. Am I supposed to paste certain files into the UO directory?

Thanks

You need Managed DirectX 9.0 installed on your system. You say you do, but PlayUO is saying otherwise.

Are you using Vista?

Nope, windows XP. When I go to dxdiag it says that I have DirextX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904).

Am I supposed to be dragging files into my UO folder or anything? I'm running Sallos and such from the desktop.

Yeah, I did a quick google search. What the heck is "managed" or the version "managed". All the guides and such say directx 9.0c and such

*edit - Ah, ok. The mdx files. I installed them a while ago to no avail.

I feel I may need to try to reinstall directx. But I've read all the uninstallers work half the time etc.

Managed DirectX is basically a bunch of DX wrappers for .NET. If installing MDX had no effect, then I honestly can't help you any further. Sorry.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the client, patched all the way, and I still have the problem. This worked for someone else.
