Resolution Problems - RunUO

Please temporarily disable razor's ability to modify the in game resolutions. For years now there has been a minor bug with razor, whenever you modified the in game options it would switch your resolution to 640x480 and you would have to relog to get back in 800x600. Mythic has played into this bug and forced the client to open and close the options menu on every log in, I believe in a specific attack against razor. If you patch to 7.0.5.0 razor is rendered completely useless again.

If you use client version 6.0.6.1 and you won't have this problem.

Thank You!!! I though there was something up with my server and was looking everywhere to find the issue.

Edit: I mean, you know they just sit around at OSI thinking, "How can we !@#$ with the RunUO community this patch?"

Any chance you could upload version 6.0.6.1 somewhere? Already patched and Razor is broke.

Might not work. Sometimes things other than the client.exe are changed. You can try dumping this file into your UO directory, but if that doesn't work you will need to reinstall and stop while patching.

That one must be too old or just incompatible before I patched up. Could you try hosting the new one for me? I would REALLLY appreciate it. (Btw im on EA servers)

I haven't used Razor for that long. Any idea how long an issue like this normally takes to fix? I know it runs on donation basis so of course Im just glad to be able to use it and not pay those losers at Tugsoft another $15.

Just give it some time...shouldn't be more than a few days. They're usually pretty quick about Razor fixes.

Dear UORazor god (Zippy), fyi, EA has also in addition to the screen resolution issue, allowed for multiple 2D clients to be run. While this may seem like a null issue, I thought that it may impede an issue for the Razor engine. I personally have not tried the new EA x2 client feature, but felt the need to bring it to your attention so that at least if ever there were an issue that people post here regarding such, you'd already be aware.
