Default Latest version of Razor

Just let me know if this is my problem rather than something with Razor. The player shard I am on is using a 2.x client. When I run Razor I get the following error that apparently occurs when people are using the 3D client.
There is a test 3.x client for the shard I might try if it will allow Razor to run.

Thanks.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

I don't think Razor supports the 2.0 client at this time...

I tried it with the 3.0.7b client and no luck either. Same error.

oh, nevermind. Just found this in another post:

"This is probably due to you using an old version of the client. Razor only works with 3.0.8q or later."

Highest client we have on the shard is 3.0.7b. Guess I can't use Razor.

Actually razor might work with that client, the error your are getting is related to a registry issue (which hyas been fixed for the next version). You can find out how to fix it by doing a search on this forum.

I am using the 2d client. I checked and my registry already has the proper values.

Correction...my registry was set to the default install values for UO, but the freeshard I am on uses a custom client. I modified the exepath string to the name of the client file and it works!
Now, what can Razor do? time to experiment.

Wasn't Fixed in next version because I still have the problem. I use UOGateway and The Registry does point to the .exe's. Still no fix for me, if I do change anything in the registry then it says I do not have UO installed.

Quote:
Thanks fixed for next version. This only happens if you dont have 2d installed. If you the registry entry everything sdhould work fine.

Folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0

String Key:
ExePath
Value: your uo directory
If you the registry entry everything sdhould work fine, is a bit unclear.

Any ideas or help with this would be appreciated
