Question Cannot buy/sell from vendors

I read the post for how to report bugs and assume it means to post the bugs here...

I think this bug(s) is a bit unique so I doubt you all have time for it but, if you do have a solution it is appreciated.

Operating System: XP Pro
Razor Version: 0.1.18
Emulator Logging Into: UO Gateway (tried Razor login as well)
Client Version: 3.0.6a

Brief problem Description:

Cannot buy/sell items from vendors. Error messages showing up when single clicking static objects, instead of "a tree" or "stalagmites"

Error messages:

Error [TID]: Null string : 1044579 ---- Presented at shard selection screen in place of "select a server" or whatever it says.

Error [TID]: Null string : 1022878 ---- Presented when clicking on a table.

All error messages are in that format. I believe a similar data stream is being given in place of the command to open a vendor buy/sell window, causing the problem.

I don't have these problems with newer clients (I've tried the older ones without running razor and still get errors) but, those clients which are 4.0.3c and up I cannot run Razor on (it will freeze during login, like another member had a problem with)...

Clients I'm using: Urm... Nevermind

The problem is your not using a supported client for the shard your playing on.

Also I might suggest you removed the link the clients, as last time I checked they had a copyright on them.

The simplest solution would be to fix your problem with the current client ( that would mean update UO Gateway ) would be my educated guess which most of the time I have found to be correct

Item connected to opposition

Copyrights?

That is why I listed the site with clients. Perhaps someone should edit that thread as well... Didn't think there was a problem. One might argue that the indicated post does not have a real "link" but, I would argue otherwise, since the site name is so plainly listed. Anyways..

I tried using those clients because of the thread on this very site, while I was trying to get information about it before posting my problem.

If these clients won't work with razor, what will? I've tried nearly every client on the two pages I went to which listed downloads.

Currently I'm trying to get my hands on a different UO iso to install a different version. I think that is my best bet for now, unless anyone has any other ideas.

Those users were wrong to suggest you download a client from a site.

You need to update your Ultima Online Gateway client 1.8 isn't the curren version.

The problem is because the older clients dont support the changes that have taken place.

The worst solution would be to not patch your client ( not a good idea as you won't be able to play on your shard ).

The best solution is fix the problem, which is easy, as your not using the current version of Ultima Online Gateway.

Problem fixed. I updated from the OSI server. No more problems.

I just assumed that I should be using an older client to work with the pre-t2a setting of the Rebirth shard.

Thanks for everyone's posts!
