Zippy - A plea from all pol and sphere players. As you know many shards use client 2.03 This client ofters a few advantages over other clients as you can edit verdata files ect and add basically any model you like into the verdata. As a player of many shards I enjoy the difference in PvP between the emulators and find it depressing that I have to use my old crappy uoassist for older clients. Could you please enable razor to be used on 2.03 as thats what a lot of shards use. If you do this you will gain fame and karma from all

Plus as a special bonus send me a photo of yourself and you can become a model for all the world to see in 2.03

first off what process are you useing to connect or open uo?

well I installed razor I select no to dont encrypt the client use encyption and I select client 2.03 and i get stuck at the connecting screen - I have tried 3 versions of razor to work with 2.03 but with no success RazorB2_Inst.exe RazorB3_Inst.exe and the latest if you can help me please tell me the model and the steps

Try using gateway, patch in the older client and select razor as tool.

I select uo gateway select to use 2d client install optional patch=yes use third party program=razor I click on the shard and only uo fires up

Top right click create local server list. after doing so new screen put in all your info make sure not to remove encryption. and make sure razor is on. after that scroll all the way to the bottom click add file search for your client version you want and open it after it loads hit the save button and open your client.

I went to the sphere site to see if there was any info there how to do it. In doing so I stumbled across a shitfight that happened some time ago. Let me just say this, I personally have no time for the sphere mods and developers most are just wankas trying to rest on there laurels from years ago. Please dont base your decision not to support 2.03 on these mob of fools that slapped you in the face when you were trying to help. Some friends of mine were sent letters by mensoft lawyers to stop development of 55r and hosting it what just proves there a mob of idiots. In the end its up to Zippy if he will make this compatable with 2.03 or not. I for one hope he will and I know there are thousands more.

Razor doesn't support 2.0.3 client because it, the client changed to much over the years.

Just use a supported client, not that hard to connect.

2.0.3 I can say most likely will never be supported for that reason, who cares if thats the only thing Sphere shards support.

But your missing the point phantom you may not however there are many that do - perhaps not the sphere admins however there are a lot of players who would dearly love to use razor but cant

- Oh btw with that client thing you can go aos with sphere 1 ect but many of the admins of servers have got the shits with sphere and there bullshit and just use the "rouge" version created by kell and co. you yourself may not like sphere most dont I guess (I dont like management there) however its mean spirited to just say screw them

Is it likely razor will ever be open sourced the interpratation of packets needs to be ajusted

Its not possible for Razor to support 2.0.3

You can moan and cry all you want, that fact won't change.
