The way UOAssist does it, saves everything according to shard, account name, and char id. Macros could be universal, but it stinks to have to change all your hotkeys around when you want to use a different character, or have to create a seperate profile for each one.

This is kinda what Razor does I think? It's been a while since i played OSI/used UOA (even tho I used it way back before it was even UOPro :P), but I just create a new profile for each character.
1 thing that would be nice though, is if the "Default".xml profile actually acted as "Default" though, in that "New" created profiles would "start" with the "Default" options selected Would make making new profiles a lot easier, especially since my profiles contents dont change much, but it's still nice to have a seperate profile for each character, because my mage tamer, and my nox mage pvper require different spell combos and hotkey settings. |

You can create profiles, but when you have 20 different characters it makes it a hassle having to cycle through them. The way UOA does it, it switches automatically, which would be better than having to switch profiles each time you decide to use a new character.

Razor automatically loads the last profile used on a character when you log in.
