Default Poisoning a weapon needs tweaking...

If someone have 5 kyrss in their pack, and hit their poisoning macro, instead of poisoning the weapon they are wielding, it randomly chooses from the 5 kyrss in the backpack. The only other way around this is to make a macro where you will have to TARGET your weapon while trying to fight, which can really be a pain in the arse.

All i'm suggesting is to allow the macro to only poison the weapon that the character is wielding, rather than one sitting in the backpack. Using UOA, this is possible, but not possible with razor, is this a reasonable suggestion?

If you use absorute target instead of target by type then you can do this.

Wink how to do absolute target

dude thats so simple. use ur weapon in ur hand and record and then target something. then delete all the junk out of the macro except the useful parts. the poison part, the targeting poison pot type, and then the absolute target part. then just right click absolute target and click retarget and then select the weapon u wanna use. do this every time u want a new item to poison.

Do this 3 or 4 times during a fight? I mean, that really gives a huge disadvantage having to keep targeting your weapon during a single fight. I thought the purpose of razor was to simplify things? No?

My bad, i see what you guys are saying. The problem is not razor, the problem is that the free shard i play, when applying poison to a weapon, the weapon will break about every 15-20 hits, and it's really a pain having to retarget so many times during a fight.

I apologize for putting the blame on the razor program, that was bad judgement on my part. But the fact is, i like the shard i play on, but i hardly ever play because mt char is a fencer/poisoner, and he relies on poison weps. So is there any way to simplify things for a shard that only allow 15 hits before the weapon breaks, so that having to retarget 5 times during a single fight won't be neccesary? If anyone have a solution, please post. Thank you in advance.

Try putting the extra weapons in a bag. Theorhecticaly razor should still eb able to find them when you go to arm them using a macro, but when you use your poison macro it SHOULD find the one in your hand before hte ones in the bag.

Tell me if this works.
