Potting + keeping ur spell up

Hello, ive seen people csat a gheal spell and then waited for me to drop and then they used a cure potion and healed theirselfs so that means while they use the cure potion they kept the gheal spell up.
does anyone know how they do it, they told me they used razor for it.
but i tryed to find out but i couldnt find anything that will do such a thing at every try i did i lost my gheal targeter after i potted

If they cast the spell and then used hotkey to use cure potion than it won't require them to actually click on the potion (something that will break the heal spell target) so they could still target themself with the waiting target of the heal spell.

That's my theory anyway

Yes i know that haha but its like this we just load xplo and they cast gheal and can wait like 20 secs and if we then drop a poison after xplo and they still havetheir gheal loaded they drink the cure pot and use the gheal.
so they not drinking the pot the delay of the spell but after they casted the spell

It doesn't matter, the spell will wait with the target untill the player target something.
It can take 20 seconds or 20 minutes but it'll be the same.

hmm so you mean its just possible to have the gheal spell up already and then just do the razor hotkey macro drink cure and still have your targeter?

As long as you don't actually click with your mouse on something or that razor doesn't "auto-click" your mouse on something than yes, the target cursor will remain active.

when i try that and i use a razor hotkey to drink for example greater str pot then mine dissapeers so i don't get it do you need a option enabled?

What dat99's saying is theoretically possible, but I think RunUO will cancel you spell target if you double click something (like drinking a potion) rendering this one useless. If it is the case that RunUO automatically cancels your target in this way, then I know of no way to drink a cure while a spell target is up. So you have a few possibilities:

1) RunUO (and/or your server) allows you to do this. You can easily test it yourself.
2) You saw things wrong and/or the guy was lieing to you and this is completely impossible.
3) Your server has a [drinkcure or some other such command which does no properly cancel your target when used. So this is more of a problem/exploit with your specific server (and/or any servers which use the same script(s)).

Yeah, when you click (or double click) it cancle the target.
What I thought happened is that they used a hotkey macro that use a potion without double clicking on the potion which on theory won't call a target cursor and won't mess with the active target cursor.

Of course you know better than I do how razor handles hotkey-potions so you can tell if it disable the target cursor or not

Hmm i tryed every possible way with razor macro and with the [drinkcure the server has but it keeps dissapering weird shit

If your server has [drinkcure, I would suspect this is the problem. You should probably tell them to look into it. They can even ask here if they need help.
