Lumberjack question

I've tried searching on this but can't find an answer.

I am trying to set up a macro for lumberjacking with a bag of hatchets etc. I recall, swap to hatchet but a diff hatchet gets loaded and when i go to chop it tells me i have to be equipped because the macro is set to "type" so it just picks one in the bag and not the one in the hand.

Is there a way to get the macro use the one in the hand regardless of which one happens to be in the hand at the time?
