Default Ghost Target Cursor

I have a macro:

Use skill poisoning
pause .80 seconds
target item type green potion
pause .80 seconds
absolute target (my weapon)

After the macro completes, I still have a target cursor. Targeting it just removes it (no efftect)
Yes I can hit esc to get it to go away, but is there any way to prevent this from happening?

Make sure you have it Wait For Target before you actually target the potion.

In my experience, it happens every once in a while. It's just a small glitch. You might also want to try to make the delays a bit longer to give the client a chance to keep up.

I try to avoid wait for target becuase it can hang up sometimes.

And it seems you aren't understanding the problem.
The delays are fine, the macro completes fine, the weapon gets poisoned.
After the macro has completely finished I am still left with a cursor that does nothing.

So to rephrase:
The macro isn't stalling or hanging up it is just leaving this "ghost cursor" after it finishes.

NVM I found a fix.

I added:
exec: cancel current target

To the end.
I should have thought of that sooner.

Wait for Target will onyl hang if the target fails to appear. Which IMO is a better solution than continuing to execute target commands when you don't have a target cursor (OSI may be able to detect you trying to target things when you shouldn't, etc etc).

I have always found delays to be more reliable.
