Hey guys whats up? Heres the deal I had the older version of razor working beautifully on my computer. Then I attempted to install the new version. It would download but halfway through installing it would have an error saying, "Error opening file for writing; C:\program files\razor\razor.exe" if i click ignore it would say, "Error opening file for writing; C:\program files\razor\crypt.exe" then, "Error opening file for writing; C:\program files\razor\ultima.dll" So I thought it might be because I didnt have the latest version of .net from microsoft. I then went to thier website and downloaded microsofts .net version 2.0. After waiting for that to install I tried yet again to install the new razor with no luck.
So how do I get the new version of razor to install? Do I need to revert my .net to v. 1.1 and how would i do that? Are there any other microsoft downloads that I would need? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Brannon |

The installer does not need .Net 1.1 to function, so that is not your problem.
Try retarding your computer before you install. Try making sure you are an administrator on the computer. Try disabling any running anti-virus programs. If Razor won't even install, then there is something wrong on your end since the installer is totally independant from .Net and any custom Razor code.
