the worst bug in razor

#1 the spam
anyone who duels knows exactly what im talkin about. there is no way to use razor without seeing "You are already casting a spell." on the left side of the screen whilst casting spells. it lags us, and the server(im sure). allow us an option to disable that message. i searched razor in and out and didnt find an option to "disable all razor messages". i love razor and find those messages helpful, but when dueling those messages just lag me.

#2 next target
while fighting somebody i often-times end up lose their target to crossheal or somethin else.. thats fine, but when i hit my 'next target' hotkey to target them again, sometimes it will not find them unless i off screen them and come back to them and rehit my key like 15+ times and sometimes if they are the only target(including npcs, mobs) it will not select them... until something else comes onto the screen.

im sure the obvious fix for this would be to use the target random blue/enemy macros which im sure alot of people use, but hey - what can i say, im stuck on my style.

this does not give a pop-up "this will flag you criminal are you sure?" button if you have that set in your uo options to do that. not sure why not. this has gotten my blues killed in town a few times as my key is ~ and i accidently press it

This is not a razor message, this message comes from the server. You can use Razor's "Filter Repeating System Messages" option (Options tab) to cut down on these.

Since Razor is attacking for you, it can't show you the criminal query. I'll think about this one for a while... but it will probably just stay the way it is.

For #3, yea I'd say keep it as it is. That's how it's always been, and how UOAssist was as well.

say If you were monkeying around with some friends outside of town, and then 2 minutes later you go back into town (your criminal/aggressor flags are all off, and you are all blue/innocent to each other), if you accidently hit a spell and had Que Last Target set to one of your buds there in town....well, you would be dead. "Last Target" should bypass the noto query.

to add on to #1 :
i noticed in razor in the general tab "Filter repeating system messages"

i played with this for a little bit and thought hey its great, except its not. it filters alot of system messages. i noticed when i pressed the stun hotkey three times, which i sometimes do in battle just to make sure i am in 'stun-mode' it filters/LAGS it hardcore. i say remove the filter on that message, but apply it to some others like for example :

"No item of type candle%s% (0A28) found!" <--- bug in itself candle is not candle%s% hehe
and
"No item of type lantern (0A25) found!"
and all of the
"Playing Macro NAME OF MACRO HERE..."
and
"Macro NAME OF MACRO HERE finished."
and
Im sure theres more that would cut down on client lag... just cant think of any off hand.

also while we are on the same thing as dressing or candling... i messed with a dagger for the first time.

i noticed that if i cast explosion for example and immediately after casting it, i hold down the key to dress dagger, it ques the action 5 times... would not be cool in a duel when tryin to cure quick n smash ur buttons like me :P. upon further investigation i figured hey its probably that option to auto-que objects [700ms] - it was not.

i figured it out. to reproduce the auto-que 5 times for dressing dagger while casting spells:

1.equip dagger
2.cast spell
3.immediately after casting spell, hold down hotkey to dress dagger

result : you will get 5 dress ques, when there should be only 1

#5 with alchemy and razor

say you have a pouch full of mortar and pestels. ur going thru ur macro n makin kegs like theres no tomarrow... then one breaks! heres the bug: even though you have many more and u have ur razor set to use by type, razor will stop working UNLESS you have your pouch open that has the mortars and pestels. same goes with tailor kits and im sure smitthy tools etc.

prolly not a bug but hey, u dont see that kinda thing with regs and casting spells so i thought id drop it in...

These are messages from Razor and not the server. You can filter out some of these messages using a different option called "Razor Messages" on the "More Options" tab.

This is because you held down the key too long. If you hold down a key, it will repeat. Solution: Do not hold down the key.

Zippy, obviously that would be the easy solution... but I'm trying to make it difficult for you!

These messages truly suck..

I can make a nice big list of them for you if youd like... the ones that I feel should be filtered. And those that should not. I hate seeing the spam on the screen.... and its especially stupid when showing a friend the game. They think Im joking.
