I leave this option enabled so i keep scaning it with a program(i.e. mIRC) so when something happens mIRC will tell me(someone atacking me, saving the world etc.) but i've always to remove the Packets.log so it wont repeat it again and again and again, and it keeps a timer running it on mIRC so it will check and delete Packets.log every 2s so if i close Razor and the timer is running when i open Razor again the option is unmarked and it dont log anymore, i tried not to remove the file, just making it blank but it keeps happening, can you fix it ? Or at least tell me what line i have to put on it so Razor will not unmark the option.
Thankz ![]()

Razor always unchecks the option when Razor starts because the option isn't saved.
its purposefully like this so people don't forget to turn it off and create really huge log files of stuff. Also the log file can have passwords and stuff in it, so its not a good idea to leave it laying around on your system by accident. In the next version of razor there will be an option in your profiles.xml file named "LogPacketsByDefault" setting this to true will cause the box to be checked each time razor loads. So when the new version comes out, make this change using a text editor and your problems will be solved. Until then, there's nothing you can do.

Ok, thank you very much
![]() Oh, and if isn't asking too much, can you make it encrypt the password or remove the packet at all(Packets.log wouldn't save this particular packet) ? If you can't no problem, but if it is a small thing and you could do it...well just making it persistant is enough but if you can do this it will be great ![]() Edit: I'm refering to the login/password packet.

Don't think that would be necessary. Best to keep the "packet logging" as accurate as possible. Know what I mean? :P
Unless, Zippy wanted to add a "Packet logger manager" into Razor, where you can designate certain packets/types that would be "excluded" from logging to the log file...but I don't think that's too necessary :P |

Well i think it's a security question, i'm not saying its urgent but it would be nice. Could be a option in the profiles.xml like the LogPacketsByDefault he is making, a ExcludeLoginPasswordPacket=yes/no than it wouldn't be of a problem. It doesn't need all of a Packet Logging Manager...
