What's this mean?
-Added a "-macro " command to play a macro from inside of the client. I thought it meant you could now call 1 macro from another. But if so I don't understand how to do so. Could someone explain what that means if not what I'm thinking it means? Or, if I'm understanding it correctly and you can now call a macro from another, could someone explain that to me, please? |

You have been able to call one macro from another for a long time.
Anything that is a hotkey can be done in a macro, which includes other macros. So while you are recording a macro if you go to the hotkeys table, fine the macro you want to call and click the Execute button, a call will be inserted in the macro. The change you referenced is a command from inside the client. For example, if you have a macro named "heal" then typing "-macro heal" in the client (without the quotes) will play that macro as if you pressed play on the macro tab and pressed the macro's hotkey.

I'm glad I got it confused though because I did not know about the ability to call 1 macro from another. This should allow for some rather intricate automation. ![]() |
