Default ability create Razor plug-ins?

Hey all,
Just wondering as a programmer if there was a way to write Razor plugins to extend the functionality of the tool (in C# or another .NET lang maybe?) There are a few macro features that I'd love to add, along with a couple of other random tidbits, but since its not OpenSource like RunUO, I cant just hack it up.

So I guess this is a question for the Razor Dev's, is there a way to extend the functionality of Razor or is the source public?

Thanks
-dustin

No, Razor is not, and will not be any time soon, open source as has been discussed ad nauseum in these forums...

So I'm guessing that means there is 0 way to extend Razor. I dont really care if its OpenSource or not, I'd just like to be able to add some features to it without having to recreate the wheel.

No, Razor is specifically designed against allowing you to decompile and modify it or create plug-ins for it.

Razor was originally designed to have a C# plug-in interface, but due to the probability of rampant cheating the feature was never fully implemented. About a year later when Razor was much more wide spread "hacks" started to appear which involved disassembling Razor to add additional functionality like auto looters, IDOC hunters and house auto placement tools. In response to this, Razor was strengthened against modification in a number of ways. Since then I have not found a functional "hack" for Razor... Nor have I heard heard of one so I can only assume that none exist. Which is really for the best.

If plug-ins/hacks were more wide spread it would lead to a greater effort by shard owners or even EA/OSI to block Razor or prevent it from working. In the absence of these hacks, Razor boasts over 10,000 users per day. (See the statistics sticky in this forum.)

A shame some people screwed the whole thing up. Thanks for the reply though....I guess I'll just put my ideas into the suggestions section and let you guys judge their viability.

If modifying Razor was possible, Razor would just end up like Ignition, or whatever that program is called...heh. THough, with more updates I dont even recall the last time Yoko's Injection was updated hehe. But I mean, the source is open, so anyone with knowledge can add features as they please.
