Razor problems.... - RunUO

Ok, so i've been looking around here trying to figure out what the problem could be and ive tried different things, but i dont know what it is.

I get into uo. Everything runs fine. Playing on UOGamers: Hybrid. The second I decide to do something like, mark a rune, heal someone other than myself, stable a pet, or any other menial task, everything freezes up on me and i have to log out and log back in.

Ive tried reinstalling uo and razor. Doesnt work. Ive tried updating uo all the way (then I saw forums saying that most free shards wont work with the latest patch) so I uninstalled and started out fresh again. Ive tried not updating UO at all. I've tried using the old razor. nothing.

I also dont know how to download individual uo patches so I dont have to update to the fullest extent.

I am getting really fed up with this. I dont really know what else I can do. Uninstalling and reinstalling just doesnt seem to be doing anything....is the world against me? Or i'm i just dumb. Please someone help me out.

When you uninstall, are you removing any left over things from the folders of the programs that you are uninstalling?

To not update all the way, click "cancel" on the patch window when you see patch 5.0.1 start downloading and you will be fine.

when I uninstall I remove everything. Every macro, file, update, everything.

I did figure out just to cancel the download when I get to the one I want. So if I do everything before 5.0.1 it should work? I'll try that. Its really weird. I cant cast any spells. All I can do is heal myself, drink pots and select something im holding. Everything else seems to freeze it up and I have to re-open. I will try to download to before 5.0.1, see if that helps, and I will be back to let you know.

Awesome. That worked. Updated to 5.0.0b. Works great.

Is this something that is posted on the forums or on the website that I just didnt find? About having to update to 5.0.0b? Or something the freeshard should have posted somewhere. I'm just wondering how I would of known to update it to that. So hopefully next time I can look there to see if it has changed.
