I did a total reinstall of UO & this fixed the above bug of course, however I cannot get past the verifying account screen using razor. I can log into OSI just fine without using razor but cannot log into any server runUO or OSI with razor???

It seems for some reason some people are still having bugs/errors when using razor with 6.0.5 , so I suggest not going past 6.0.4 atleast for now.

I just installed the UO client linked on uodemise.com on a second computer and Im getting this error.
I made that reg file like this thread suggested but when I double click it and select yes it gives me an error saying the file is not a registry script and that I can only import binary registry files. I tried uninstalling the uo client and reinstalling it to the directory its on on this computer (that razor doesnt get errors with), C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy but that didnt help either. What do I need to do to get this to work? |

Hey guys, little new here, having the same problem.
Yes, I do run on vista but that's an argument for another time. Here's the file after I edited it. I had to import the file from regedit itself. Can you guys see anything glaringly obvious that I did wrong? Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeOrigin Worlds Online] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeOrigin Worlds OnlineUltima Online] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeOrigin Worlds OnlineUltima Online1.0] "ExePath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Clientclient.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Client" "PatchExePath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Clientuopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Clientuo.exe" "Upgraded"="Yes" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREOrigin Worlds OnlineWow6432NodeUltima Online Third Dawn] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREOrigin Worlds OnlineWow6432NodeUltima Online Third Dawn1.0] "ExePath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Clientuotd.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Client" "PatchExePath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Clientuopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:Program Files (x86)EA GamesUltima Online 2D Clientuo.exe" |

It's pretty simple. Maybe if some of you look at a picture of the work done. I've attached a pic, check it out. Copy the whole thing as you see it, but just rename the path with the location of your Ultima Online's directory.
Hope it helps. |

Windows 64 bit OS' put all 32 bit programs registry entries under the Wow6432 key. Obviously this will screw up any program that tries to check for the registry entry using the standard way. (Pretty much any UO utility that uses the registry to determine UO's install path are going to have this problem - including the Ultima DLL). Personally I think this was a bad call on Microsoft's part is it invites compatibility issues. |

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy\xxxxx.exe should be: C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy\\uo.exe It needs the double slash to be imported. My working example: Filename: reg_fix.reg Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0] "ExePath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\client.exe" "InstCDPath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\" "PatchExePath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\uo.exe" "Upgraded"="Yes" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn\1.0] "ExePath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\uotd.exe" "InstCDPath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\" "PatchExePath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="J:\\Ultima Online\\uo.exe" |

I tried reinstalling razor and I still get the message...Nobody has explanined easily how to find the file...I don't understand program files very well, so I need a step by step instruction. I'm also using UOKR if that's a problem (I believe i read it's a problem somewhere)

Okay, my registry looks nothing like that. Its got Origin worlds online with two subs, Ultima Online and KR Client. Theres no mention of any 1.0 or anything of that nature. I can play UO just fine but I'm having issues with easyuo finding the .mul files. The problem allegedly rests with the registry not pointing easyuo in the right direction.

For those who are having problems running Razor on Vista 64-bit (getting the cliloc errors), try using the following .reg file rather than the one that has been posted here. This fixed my problems immediately:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online] "HarvestStage"=dword:00000000 "UniqueInstanceId"=dword:4699ca17 "LastHarvestTime"=dword:46aa9c40 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0] "ExePath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online\\client.exe" "InstCDPath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online" "PatchExePath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online\\uo.exe" "Upgraded"="Yes" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn\1.0] "ExePath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online\\uotd.exe" "InstCDPath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online" "PatchExePath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="D:\\Games\\Ultima Online\\uo.exe" Of course, substitute "D:\\Gaems\\Ultima Online" with the proper path to your UO directory (and don't forget the double slashes). Hope this helps. |
