Easy to disable Razor Macro Use on Custom Server - RunUO

If you have a custom server, all you have to do is add a character windows can't save as part of a file name ( any of these... / \ * ? > < : ) , to your server name in ServerList.cs and Razor won't allow players to make any macros (it crashes the client). Razor tries to pass the character on as part of the process of saving character macro profiles, which causes the error.

Maybe you could change it so that if Razor detects one of these characters in the server name, it substitutes it for another character when it tries to save the character macro profile??

i.e.
\ = a
/ = b
* = c
? = d
: = e

or whatever. Just an idea.

It crashes Razor, or it crashes the client?

If it crashes Razor, there will be a crash.log file. Please post it.

Here's the error in JPG screencap

Then razor crashes. Can't find the .log

As you can see, the culprit is the string "mytharria: inhe" in the file save name.

That is a client error, nothing I can do about that.
