Hi xiosis,
Here is a step by steb instruction how to fix the "no cliloc file found" error. 1. Create a new file (and name it "error_fix.reg") If you know how to create a file and change its extension to ".reg" then goto 2 1.1 (Detailed Information on how to create this file) Go into your Windows Explorer. (WindowsKey+E) Browse to a folder where you want to create the file. (It doesnt matter where you create the file.) In the Explorer press: [File] -> [New] -> [Text-Document] Inside your currently open Explorer-Window you should see a new file called: [New Textdocument.txt] Rename this file to [error_fix.reg] (right click on the File -> [rename]) If your filename is just called [New Textdocument] (without the .txt extension) read 1.2 1.2 Enabling file extensions view Go to the following menu in your windows explorer: [Extras] -> [FolderOptions] Then press onto the Tab: [View] and disable: []Hide file extensions for known file types Now you can save and leave the menus. You should see that your previously file is now named: "new textdocument.txt" Rename this file to [error_fix.reg] (right click on the File -> [rename]) 2. Filling the file with Information Right click onto your [error_fix.reg] file and choose the option: "Edit" Your notepad/texteditor should open and show you the empty file. Copy the following text into that notepad window: Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0] "ExePath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online\\client.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online" "PatchExePath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online\\uo.exe" "Upgraded"="Yes" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online Third Dawn\1.0] "ExePath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online\\uotd.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online" "PatchExePath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:\\games\\Ultima Online\\uo.exe" Now you have the fix the path's in the above mentioned file. Replace all: "C:\\games\\Ultima Online\\" with the directory where you have installed UltimaOnline. (But use double-backslashes) i.E. if you have installed Ultima Online into the folder: C:\Program Files\Origin\Ultima Online you change the lines to the following: "ExePath"="C:\\Program Files\\Origin\\Ultima Online\\uotd.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:\\Program Files\\Origin\\Ultima Online" "PatchExePath"="C:\\Program Files\\Origin\\Ultima Online\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:\\Program Files\\Origin\\Ultima Online\\uo.exe" Important: Notice the double backslashes! 4. Saving and starting At last save your [error_fix.reg] file (Ctrl-S) and close the editor. Now double click the [error_fix.reg]. A prompt will ask you if you want to add the information to your registry. Confirm this by pressing [Yes] Now your error message should be history. best regards, |
