Post DoS warnings

Hi!

I've search through the forums and with the Search function, but can't find if this has ever been reported.

Namely, since I started playing UO again on UOGH, my Sygate Personal Firewall is reporting DoS attacks, but it's reporting them as outgoing. It reports them under some known tool called "Jolt2" that's out there.
I searched my box with AVG, Adaware, Spybot, and nothing.

I narrowed down the range of these reports to when I'm running UO/Razor.

Has anything like this been found to be associated with Razor in the past?

Thanks,
Kappy

I have never heard of anyone having any issues like this. There's nothing in Razor that would normally cause it to be detected as a virus or some type of attack.

But I did look up Jolt2, and I came across this: http://downloads.securityfocus.com/v...ploits/jolt2.c

You'll note that near the top that it mentions "the Razor team" (which refers to a different Razor). It could be that your firewall is retardedly blocking anything named Razor.exe. I recommend you contact Sygate and ask them what the deal is.

Funny, I saw that too and assumed it was also a different Razor, but didn't dawn on me that they could have blocked it by name.

Good point, I'll reach out to those guys.

Thanks for your help.
