Update problem - RunUO

Hello! Last night I opened the razor and a window appeared to upgrade. I waited a few seconds and when was done, begins to upgrade again and again, and razor never opens = (.

I am doing something wrong or is an update problem?

Try downloading Razor and installing it fresh from the website rather than using the Updater.

tried that.... no luck

on one pc i used my firewall to block razor from accessing the net, and on the other pc i pulled the network cable out, started razor till it started the client, then plugged the cable back in.

I have never been able to update Razor. I have to hang up my conn, start Razor, then dial back in, once back online I can then get back to client.

Is there a way I can internally disable the update or some sort of trick I might be able to use? I just hate to stop in the middle of everything I am doing, re-download a new version every time it goes to update. or as stated above, disconnect from ISP for updated prog to fail manually.

I have experimented in hacking of limbs from the Razor program files <updater>, but it seems the program refuses to run if the updater, A: doesn't update <download or extract> B: Updater is missing from Razor startup files.

I know I can always get the newest version off the site, but like I said I am looking for a better/ another way.

Hey i need some help with my razor when i open it then go to the server divinty i click ok then a spells.def appears and say warning spells def not found spell format will not be shown so i click ok then then razor comtinues then Puff! it say bad server address ....also the server adress u entered can not be rezolved so i click ok then razor disappears and the log in pos up and play music and every thing but razor is not shown i log in and then it verifys then stop and goes back to main log in but what makes me confused is why isnt razor up! please help ryan

Dont know but thats what mine does, updater just doesnt work. At least its not just me having the issues. Chapelco do you use dialup or broadband?

If you uninstall and reinstall Razor with a fresh download form the website it will not try to update.
