Default Data Handling

I have a question regarding how RunUO handles the XML data. I created a web based front end using Cold Fusion to edit the accounts.xml file. Chiefly I want to be able to delete a character (since my client dosnt seem to do it on its own).

I realize that this change dosnt take effect until a server reboot.

So, my question is; is it possible to manipulate the xml data w/o a reboot of the server in order to refresh the data?

Thanks,

Why can't you delete a character from the client?

My latest client 4.0.2a, when I choose to delete a character it remains in the character listing, I have to edit the accounts.xml file to remove it.

Are you sure that the character you are trying to delete isn't still "young"? The B36 scripts specify that a char must be atleast 7 days old to be able to delete them.

That must be it, thanks I didn't remember that. Is there a place to change that young status?

Okay, so let me re-address the question I had cuz it got side-tracked.

The XML data used by RunUO...if you make changes to any of it..you wont see those changes until you reboot the server correct?

I'm looking for ways of manipulating the data via Cold Fusion (similar to ASP), and am wondering if its even possible at this time with the way the data is used.
