I am new here and this is my first post. I have done some searching through the forums here did not find anything I thought was related to my suggestion. If it already exists please let me know.
As a recent convert from Sphere, there is something I miss when dealing with spawns using the Sphere scripts. They have spawn groups that consist of things of the same type grouped together so you can use one spawn point instead of one for each individual type. For instance: If I want to spawn some city animals. eg, dogs, cats, misc. small birds, etc.. I can place a spawn point that randomly spawns one of those creature types. If I want to place a spawn in a jungle, they have a misc. jungle creatures spawn that creates parrots, gorillas, snakes, and other stuff related to jungles. One spawn point. So I can put it down in the middle of those areas, make the max distance rather large to accomidate the whole area, put the number of spawns at let say, 20-50. When I come back there later on the whole area is populated by creatures that belong there and I don't have a single spawn point for gorillas, one for snakes, one for parrots. Misc. Villagers Misc. Farmers Misc. NPC Misc. City Animals Misc. Forest Animals Misc. Swamp animals Misc. weak undead Misc. strong undead Misc. forest monsters Misc. swamp monsters and so on. |
