Default Ethereal Steed, Frenzied, Drake

Summary:
Ethereals That includes an Ethereal Steed

Description:
Added Ethereal Steed that looks like Skeletal Steed.

[Add etherealsteed

Installation:
Replace Current Ethereals.cs

UPDATED! Added Ethereal Frenzied Ostard and Ethereal Drake.
Note: You'll need the Drake patch to see the Drake!

Replace current Ethereals.cs

you can make an ethy anything really thats mountable, excpt the no image baby dragon or mountable polor bear just need the gump pic there, i got a nightmare, skellysteed, and a few others, dont reallt need an external cs file just edit the main ethy cs file , also there is a way to make them glow aswell too.

Understood. It's not external, it replaces the existing one. It's very simple, I thought some may like it.

You can make Ethy Polarbear and Drake. I have done it, But you need to patch files from one of the posts on this site to make them show up. (only works with 2d though)

oh pray tell, how to make them glow? Never seen that.

I think he is referring to this bit of code:

Jut add it before the public bool lines on your script... btw.. standard horde demons on beta 36 had this feature.. so.. its old news.

A word of advice, on beta 36 & 1.0 rc0 this line is known to crash player clients, when more than 1 of the glowing npcs are on-screen ( usually "critical mass" is like 3 glowing monsters ).

Dunno if thats a bug or "feature".. or something else to do with the local clients ( verfied on runuo beta 36 and runuo 1.0 rc0 with the following clients:

2D at patching: 4.0.2a ( patch 20 ) - AoS

2D at patching: 4.0.2b ( patch 21 ) - AoS

Basically test it carefully you may get nice looking npcs... but they crash both staff and payers alike when this is on the script.

So where do i get this patch for the polar bears and drakes?? and how do i make it so ppl can DL the patch when they get on my shard?

the patch for the ridable drake/bears is floating around on this site somewhere, a search might bring it up

as for the patch and uploading it to the client, thats explained fully in the FAQs at www.UOGateway.com

I copied over the ethereal.cs and when I look in Pandora I cannot find Ethereal Frenzied Ostard and Ethereal Drake. I do however see Ethereal Mount. How can I get the frnzy and drake to show up in Pandora.

EG
wait til you have few players on (or warn them they will lag for a bit) then use
the command [genboxdata

then look in your RunUO directory for the folder "the box" and copy the file listed "BoxData.xml" to the Pandora's Box data directory, by default that would be either
c:/program files/planet telex/pandoras box/data
or
c:/program files/pandoras box/data

then restart pandora's box
