If it was possible to have a forum clean up. Reason been that since Phantom is gone, and most of the FAQ's up until his sudden departure where basically answered by him. Now that he is gone so are all his answers to Questions. Any comments he made or advice given, all gone. Making a good chunk of FAQ totally useless.
And whats more annoying is people search and read the FAQ's for their answers, only to find them missing. So they go a post another question asking something that was already asked and answered. And in doing so are getting flammed by others telling them to go read the FAQ's. That question has already been asked and has been answered (and maybe they were before Phantom got the boot), but now they are not answered as they have been removed. And you now have alot in there without answers, comments and/or advice. And just as much of that just does'nt make sense since bits are missing. To those who jump down peoples necks, flamming them telling them to go look at the FAQ's or even making a link to one. Read it yourself first, make sure it is complete, not missing parts. Or you will end up looking like the bigger idiot. Don't know how many links to the FAQ's I've followed, yes they lead to the same question or similar. However alot are imcomplete and useless now. My opinion, not yours. ![]() |

Go read some, anyone with the slightest bit of intellect can see just about every second post in alot of threads from before Phantom retired are missing. You will see people ask a question, then the next post is missing, then a reply refining the question or a thank you, then another missing post, then another reply. In the end it looks a if the originator is talking to themselves or some invisable friend. Some even say "Thank You Phantom for you answer/advice". Yet there is no post in the thread by him as they are gone. You'll even find threads that are at lenght, yet missing every second post. No I don't suggest anyone re-write the posts, maybe wipe all those from the day he left and earlier. Any that are important or of any relevance will surely re-appear. |

*shrug* Yes you can see it in the thread layout on top of the thread who posted and how the post started.
But this is a forum anyway so all content is volatile. Anything worth keeping in your opinion should be backed up the second it becomes worth keeping anyway :P It is kind of strange to see threads with chunks of it missing... especially when the flames start after the missing part hehe

The posts are, from what I can tell, still there, in a manner of speaking.
If they decide to, they can retrieve all of his posts. Not sure that they will, though.

Well despite the controvery around our friend P. I'd say a good portion of the posts he made was well worth reading and even make up for some of the more aggrivating ones that he made.
But I probably should keep my mouth shut since I don't exactly know what happened :P
