Default Extending the plant system

Hi

Ive been doing lot of plant stuff lately and got almost all the resource plants done and now doing some crossing just for fun.

I was wondering if it would be viable to add some sort of a "extension" to the whole plant system. Maybe a BOD system to get reward seeds or something like that, just to keep the plant tending / growing interesting and rewarding.

Maybe adding some sort of a Plant book where you can "collect" plants etc.
Just an idea(s)...

Cheers...

Thanks for the reply.

RunUO is aiming to be an OSI clone, therefore the Naturalist quest will be implemented, and your BOD system for plants is not on OSI, so it will not be in the distro.

Plant system has been designed to easly add new plant hues and resources.
If you are interested in these features you should look at PlantHue.cs and PlantResources.cs respectively.

With regard to the naturalis quest, it has already been developed as well as all the other "solen quests". I suppose that Krrios will include them in the next version.

Good thing hear about the quest stuff, cant wait for the new release.

Ill hope someone will make custom script for the seed book thing i was suggesting, since seeds take lot of space and are not stackable. Also it would be good for "plant collectors" who aim to cross all the plants.

Thanks...

Check the script submissions for the "Seed Box Remix" ... it is a box you can use to store and sort seeds ... might be what you are looking for.
