Made for RunUO 1.0 RC0 Only
May cause problems with older or newer versions due to Serializing Update: Added Ability to set Only dead Summary: allows you to set teleporters to only respond to living players, ignoring dead players Description: A small modification to the teleporter.cs file which allows a GM or higher to set a new boolean property OnlyAlive true/false. When set to true, the teleporter will ignore dead players, setting it to false will act like the normal teleporter. Great for quests and Battles where you only want a player to have 1 try at something. set em around a ResGate and when they res and goto run back they are teleported. Installation: Simply save it to your scripts/items/misc folder, make sure to back up the original teleporter.cs |

both set to False by default, does not affect existing teleporters but does add the properties to it.
So when you add it you wont see "Item of type teleporter not found, do you wish to delete all of this type (y/n)" If RunUO changes it in next release youll have to manually add the serialize changes or you will get that message. The whole reason I made this was for tournaments. All of the arenas have door ways, and i wanted to let dead players go in to res after they died in a battle. And did not want alive players trying to get back in (using teleport or other means) and be able to sort who actually lost in massive battles 10vs10+ So I set it up to tele dead players to the Resgate room, after they res they land on the teleporter and are sent to the losers room. Figured Id share it with you all, if you come accross any bugs like values switching on save/restarts etc let me know, Been running it for about 1 day on my test center and works as expected. |
