Default Soul Stones v1.1

Soul Stones v1.1

Updates
  • Fixed bug with players being able to use stone with over 100 skill on it without have the proper cap for that skill
  • Added check to make sure that skill the player is tring to increase is turn up for gain, If the skill is locked or turned down it will warn player of it and not let them use the stone
  • Updated gump to not display Focus, Chiv, and Necro for pre aos shards.

I still have to add a few adjustments but this is a more stable script without the bugs we had before

Soul stone let you transfer a skill to the stone and use it on another char, Wont let you go above your cap on that skill and wont let you go above your total skill cap.

I still plan to add in the use for same account only feature and RenderOne's Idea on a timer. Both you will be able to enable or disable if you want them or not.

I am wondering what happens when the player with the skill originally has 120 for example in swords then transfers this to a stone and another player uses the skill but hasnt read a Power scroll to increase their cap ???

do they just automatically get the 120 ? or will it stop at 100 ?

No that is also something i need to fix about the script
Yes it will let the player without a cap of 120 to get 120.
Its a draft ill post updates soon

just have the script cap the skill that *was* 120 on the previous char revert to 100, then the transfer to a char with a 100 cap would be justified.

Yeah, that's kinda nice, but on OSI, if you move a 120 skill to a 100 cap character, that extra 20 is lost.

Depends on if he wants it to be OSI clone or not.

Just have to check the destination mobile's Skills.Cap and make sure that if its greater than it only allows it to be equal to, and keeps the remainder in the stone, or something like that. Should be quite easy.

Very nice job I love the script. One idea for an update is to maybe put a 24 hour wait time before they can put another skill on the stone?

Amoung other things of interest is the time limiter mentioned above, the fact that you can't transfer a skill to a character if they already have the skill at a higher level, and the ability to flush the current skill stored in the stone.

OSI has not released the Soulstones yet. They wont be out until the Samurai Empire expanssion comes out cause thats the gift you get for pre-ordering

just an idea..you might wanna make it so you can only use the stone if its in your backpack. Say Character A puts all his magery in a skill stone....Then locks it down in his house...character B can come along and use it.

hey i like this script alot but was wondering what your plans for it are cuz we can now use the proper itemid for this which i have done and set hue to 0 but on osi this will be an animated object with 5 frames i belive and my guess is that the animation plays forward then reverse then forward again to make it look like its glowing. also i run an aos shard and wanted to know how to show the skills you left out on the gump. anyhow this script is still very nive the way it is right now but at this point it is possable to correct it to osi if you would like to.
