Post Custome Ores

Now, the names of these ores are not mine..so I take no credit...All I did was take a few of the old scripts I no longer see such as *seamonkeys* and *GD13* and put them together for use on my shard. As I have had several request for them, I thought I would go ahead and post my set.

*what it has**new ores*
Silver, Platinum, Mythril, Obsidian, Jade, Moonstone, Sunstone, Bloodstone, Rose, BloodRock, BlackRock, Plutonium, Eldar, Crystaline, Vulcan, Poison, Glacier, Blaze, and Regal.

*instructions*
Just replace old files with these.

*DEFSmithing will be posted soon, to cover these ores/ingots

rar includes = ingot.cs, ore.cs, oreinfo.cs, and mining.cs


If anyone needs any help with these scripts, it seems I have become good at putting ores in, and changing the script to fit my*and anyones* needs. Thank you.

Sorry but when i try to open runuo there are 43 erreurs because youre missing many info in ...
oreinfo.cs
mining.cs
for the logs and the granite

hmm here is the granite..no idea what the logs have to do with this


this should fix any erors, because my shard runs just fine.

What he means is... GD13 has custom logs in his system... so you might wanna post the Log.cs as well

Well, as I posted in my first submitt...this is not just *his* work, this is mine, his, and seamonkeys...I put everything together hand by hand..cut and past..and my own mind...It has nothing to do with any one persons scripts, so it has nothing to do with logs. I have done the same with my logs. I have messhed together several scripts for them as well.

what Draxus is talking about is that GD13 has custom logs in his script and if you used parts of his you probably have the section in the oreinfo.cs that defines the custom logs so you need to post the log.cs for it to work. trust me on this i did the same thing you did putting GD13's and crazyseamonkeys ores together into one. i just didnt post it because i wanted it to be original i.e. only my shard has it not a dozen others that and i didnt feel like gettin flamed up the ass.

The logs and the ore work seperatley..when and if I ever post my logs/boards..I will...you can take the script or not..I know a few people who already have..and they had asked me for them. Thank you for the feedback..positive, and not so positive.. it is all thanked. I am sorry to those that feel they have to have my logs.boards, but at this time I am not releasing them. In the future, you may look for them, and I may post them. All a matter of who, and how nice I am asked for them. Thank you again to those who helped in the making of this script *ie...GD13, and CrazySeaMonkey*

well after removing the logs code the script comples :P but cant smelt it or craft from it its an 1/3 of the new ores/logs/craftables anyone got a link to the rest of the package i think was removed

ok my mistake its the lumberjacking.cs that is needed not the log.cs that defines custom wood. Pine, Cedar, Cherry, Mahogany, and Oak are the custom logs from crazyseamonkeys set. if you dont mind i have included the scripts that are needed to complete this package. also if you like i could post a copy of unedited versions of the distro's, GD13's and crazyseamonkey's oreinfo.cs for you to compare and see where you made the mistakes at. i am not trying to be rude but simply pointing out your minor mistakes so that they dont happen again. and my apologies for my previous post coming off as partly negative it honastly was not ment to

Thank you for your post, as mine was modified very much and containes logs that I have made myself, and if what I am reading is any sign of the fact that ores, and logs go together, then mine might have messed up peoples shards with even more errors. I have found a true and untouched copy of the Cedar, Oak, pine ect... as well, and if needed, i will post them.


Never mind LOL, I just now noticed the link you provided *blushes* Thank you for the link, and I do hope that that makes all the errors go away, as my players do enjoy the veriety of Ores they get on my shard, and I am allways willing to provide others with the enjoyment I get from the game as well. I have added GD13's wood system, but as I did not use ALL of his woods, you will have to eddit out part, and I will go through and eddit mine and post it tomrrow as it is nearing 3 am and I have not yet been to sleep *blushes* this game is just toooo adicting at times. *giggles*

sorry again , but with those files there are 3 problems it says : erreur/script/misc/oreinfo.cs(Cedarlog)could not be found(are you missing a directive an assembly reference)

this pakage was done halfass, its mising basearmor moded script, base weapon moded script, granite moded script, defblacksmith moded script and much much more

the awnser to ur question is this script is fuxed, it was oirky asenbled, the original 2 scripts were fine but kesia merged them poorly and didnt include all necesary scripts, read the faq's and learn to make ur own is my sugestion, these custom ores arent even finished she released them halfass, they arent complete so they wont work properly , not to mention she forgot to include several scripts

Kesia, Might I suggest regathering all the scripts... and resubmitting them??
But make sure everything is in the Zip file so that people can get a better idea of things if theres an error...

After talking to the people that had asked me for the scripts..I agree...they may work well for my shard,but it is for the fact that I have modified them to my shard. *They are not half ass...for my shard* They do work great, and properly. I am going to take them off the board, as my shard has many custome scripts *ie..the armor that is made with certain ores.....* I am sorry for the inconvinence, and If anyone wants to know the scipts I used, and try to implament the whole system in their shard I will be happy to share them. Well just a key note for you and everyone else out their, their needs to be a set rule for all scripts being submitted (kinda the unspoken rule) if your script that submitted do not run on a fresh install of runuo then please add all the necessary scripts to the submission and the directions on how to mod a fresh install of runuo to work with your scripts you submitted. That way everyone can use your scripts. Seeing this is public a form with many many different mod's to runuo.

kesia theres nuthin wrong with posting scripts that r designed for ur shard however, if ur going to post a script u need to include all the necesary files to make them atleast work, u didnt include defblacksmith so this entire script is useles because u cant craft them, yes this is half ass because u never debuged it THIS ISNT A FULL CUSTOM ORE SCRIPT its mising alot of thing END OF STORY remove if u please its up to you, and personaly u should have never posted this until it was completely done

ACTUALLY..............If you will look...I posted the DEFSmith on another thread!!!!!! It WAS posted...you could have downloaded it if you wanted to. So I will just say "You should have opened your eyes" and end this thread. I will not come back and reply to this any more. I have said my appoligies, and I have explained things. As for the fact that you think this is a "half ass" script, My players do not think it is, and they enjoy it very much. If you have nothing better to do then keep a conversation going that was ended before now, then I pitty you. I will be the bigger person, and swallow my pride. You have no more reason to post in this thread. This is for "script submissions" not for carrying on a conversation that to me is usless, and does nothing but waste my time and yours. To the rest of the people reading this, I am sorry you are having to deal with this. Correct, I should have double checked my scripts before posting. Not to say that I myself have not downloaded a script from "script submissions" that did not give me errors right from the start, but I have tried to be as respectful as possible. To any all all people who have donated scripts, as well as helped me in working through a script. Keeping that in mind, it will be a while before I post any new scripts in this forum.
