Furthermore, coding a new HTTP server would surely bring up some DoS that IIS have protection now. IIS is updated often and it would take too much effort to build something that already exist only to do the job of another application that do the same and is accessible.

Obviously nobody read to my post, i was recommending that RunUO have built-in HTTP access.
I tried both Apache and IIS, neither of which are at all user friendly, and I couldn't get either to work. I shouldn't have to know how to be a IIS Administrator just to get a Shard Status page up. |
