some questions - RunUO

hello everyone, i have a few questions to ask.

1. is it possible to edit scripts while RunUO server is running?
2. how can i run RunUO as a service knowing that i'm using WinXP.
3. from which file can i rename the shard name?
4. how can i create player accounts? I see no command to do that.

All of those except for #1 are answered in the FAQs. #1 is answered almost daily.

1. No

2. Install the service like all Windows Services, and then have it set to run.

3. Serverlist.cs

4. It's automatic.

thanks, one more question. How can I make my shard not a test shard anymore? I mean, why is it everytime I create a new account it gives it those free stuff in their bank including 1million gold etc, how can i change that?

That's also in the FAQ section ;->

Delete the Test Center folder from Script\misc

Then edit the CharacterCreation.cs to remove the bankbox items.

ok one question that i'm sure isnt in the FAQ this time.

Why does my client freeze whenever i click an item to see its name? It stays like that until I relog.

Try uninstalling your client then doing a complete reinstall and update your patches. The most recent client patch is 4.0.0p for both 2D and 3D clients.
