Post Scripting Tutorial as PDF

I'd like to see all the tutorial articles put together into one, downloadable PDF format. It would more easilly facillitate learning scripting. You could then post updates in PDF format to keep it all up to date.

Also, which brand and version of C# do you use for your scripting. I've seen many varieties of it advertised, and would prefer to use the same one you do, for compatibility.

In the praise and kudos department: Love the program, and want desparately to set up my own shard. A friend and I have been thinking of this for many years now. And I've given up looking for a good scriptor and have decided to simply become one.

I have programming experience from Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana. I am familiar with Basic, Cobol, Fortran, and Turbo Pascal.

I'm not sure how much you know already, but if you can, try to learn as much as possible about Object-oriented programming. While I wouldn't say it's required when first starting off, but it definitely helps.

Exactly which tutorial articles are you talking about because there are many different ones in the different forums.

RunUO uses the .NET 2.0 Framework. The server and scripts are specifically made using c#, but you can also use VB.Net as well.

'Scripting' is a very bad way to term writing RunUO code. All you really need is an overview of the C# language and patience.

You can get a free C# PDF e-book here. It's got some poorly written bits, but it doesn't cost you a penny, so I'd recommend using it to get started. I believe Amazon is offering many books as PDFs, but I don't know if they've got any programming books yet.
