Capping the resists - RunUO

hi , first time im posting , i searched the forum but couldnt find a similar problem like this one i have.

so i was wondering where do i or can i cap the stat resistances ( cold dmg , fire dmg , physical , etc). cause
if i put a cold resist 100% it gives me 100% resistance instead of the default max 70.

can anyone help me here?

Sorry for my ignorance i just found out that the players got the default resist cap 70 , which doesnt apply to the admins. sry for this noneducational thread :X

by default the cap is at 70, and that is in the core

it can be modified in playermobile (there is 1 edit in there for elves i do believe for bonus to energy or something - search for elf in there, should find it)

so unless you have modified the core or playermobile that way, your resists should cap at 70
