Default Special characters in mono

Characters such as á, â, ê, é, ó, that are commonly used in Brazilian Portuguese does not appear in the game.
While running RunUO on windows they appear normally.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

This suggest to be a charset configuration.

The characters you reffer are typed on code or by the client?

If you are talking about on code stuffs, then this should be a compile flag missing.

Alright. I copied all the code to a new empty file, and noticed the file size reduced from 2,4 KB to 2,2 KB. The file was in ISO-8859-1 when it sould be in UTF-8.
