Default Why is it doing this?

Quote:
Scripts: Compiling C# scripts...done (0 errors, 0 warnings)
Scripts: Compiling VB.net scripts...no files found.
Scripts: Verifying...done (1211 items, 320 mobiles)
World: Loading...An error was encountered while loading a saved object
- Type: Server.Items.ChainCoif
- Serial: 0x40000523
Delete the object? (y/n)
y
Delete all objects of that type? (y/n)
y
After pressing return an exception will be thrown and the server will terminate

I get that error when i updated to beta 29.. I have factions they worked prior to beta 30...

there are changes in beta 30, and the items before beta 30 cannot be converted into beta 30 items (chain coif).

To convert it, you will need to change the deserialization.

hmm should I have gotten errors with items also when I changed over to beta 30? the only one I got was the trash can I got no other ones for any armor or any items for that matter other than this? Does this mean mine didn't convert then? or does it just do it silently?

As Rokam said, items have changed with b30. Look in the changelog for what needs to be fixed, and instead of choosed 'yes' to delete all items of that type, fix the deserialization. Before doing anything else, make sure you updated all of your scripts, if you had a custom anything in your previous save, you need it in your new one also.

Only the trash barrel should have serialization issues. Post the full exception details when it gives them and I'll take a look.
