Having troubles connecting... - RunUO

I'm trying to get onto my own shard. So I get logged in, go through char creation and everything, then the client... stalls. Doesn't get any further than CC. Do I need to download or setup anything else, like some sort of world file?

Are you running the latest version of the client (4.0.0l for 2D, 4.0.0m for 3D)?

Are you running the latest version of UOGateway/UORice?

If you are using UORice, are you using the DeCrypted Client.exe?

If you are using UOGateway, did you set your shard to Remove Encryption?

Does the RunUO console show any errors from a non-connection?
