Default Looks like I just found how to lock myself out of my server!

Hi guys,
I installed the RunUo server on my other computer last week, everything is working fine and I'm very happy so I tryed to let's a few friends login, I changed the info in serverlist so ppl could log because they were blocking at server list, now they can log, that's great!

But I can't log anymore since the IP I have to use is the local one

How can I add another server to this list so I could put a link with the local address?

Thanks for your help

Then login using the local one?

Use UOG to connect to 127.0.0.1 you should be able to connect.

Unless your using a Router you shoudln't need to eeven edit the ServerList.cs

You were always suppose to use your "public" ip otherwise people outside your network wouldn't be able to join.

You should connect to what ever ip was working put that in UO Gateway to connect.

Talking about your lcoal "Custom Shard" listing... NOT THE PUBLIC LISTING!

Actually that's what I'm doing, I have set my IP in serverlist.cs to my pub IP and I try to log using the local server machine IP (192.168.0.3)

I can connect to the server without problems, it verify my account and let's me go to the server selection window. That's where my probs begin, I click on the ONLY server of my list, but he's set to direct me to my pub IP and I can't connect from my IP to my IP so I freeze there. Earlier friends were having the same problem because they were able to connect to the server and check their account info, but on the server list when they click on the server name they were trying to connect to the local IP.

So by adding the pub IP to the serverlist.cs I just moved the problem because now they can log and I can't for the same reason they were unable to.

That's why I would have 2 IP listed in my server list, 1 with the local IP and other with the pub IP, but I can't find how to do it with the search

Here try this topic http://www.runuo.com/discussion/view...ver+serverlist Gandalfjr posted a good way to make the serverlist list one listing for people connecting from the internet and one listing for the local pc. Since it's set for the loopback address you'll have to modify it a bit but it's a great starting point.
