I downloaded server beta 31, and unzipped it and double clicked on it and after it gets down to the ip address 127.0.0.1 it gives an error and then crashes. I havn't added or removed anything from it. This is the server crash report

".NET Framework: 1.0.3705.0"
May or may not be the problem, but that makes me think you are using Framework 1.0 and not Framework 1.1. Are you? If so update, if not; it doesn't look like a "Didn't keep directory structure" issue, so I really don't know. |

To be sure, check the directory where .NET is installed, usually c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework There you should find two more sub-directory and one should read as follows, v1.1.4322 , If only one or niether read as to the left here, then you do not have 1.1. I am also a "newbe" to RunUO but I have run most all other UO emulators though. And have moved to RunUO for its speed. I may be new to this one, but, I do know that reading is a must for any EMU. I have never had a problem with starting or running any emu. Why? because I read the FAQ's, docs, and most all forums releated to that emu. Ok,, I have had a few problems with some of them, nothing major though. Just simple crud that was my fault to begin with because I got in a hurry and missed some thing in the docs. All I can say is READ THE HELP DOCS and ALL other reading materials BEFORE posting a message some where. Well, thats what I do anyway. Ok, so I am a bit differant than most. :P Take care all. Hope I did not ruffle any feathers. If so, sorry. |

I have the same error than AvendesoraS except for the line .NET Framework: 1.0.3705.0 (my is .NET Framework: 1.1.4322.573)
I searched in the forum, in the FAQ and find nothing... (maybe I miss it in the forum because some people don't write really good title for them topic) |
