freezing the world

everytime i try to freeze my statics i get an error saying i have to make a new directory for the statics.mul and staidx.mul i have no clue how to make new directorys, i need help

If you don't know how to make a directory, I'm sorry to say you probably should NOT be running a UO shard.

Directory creation is without a doubt one of the absolute EASIEST functions to do on a computer, regardless of OS, hardware, or anything else.

Dude, making a directory is as simple as Right Click-> New -> Folder :-P
In DOS it's mkdir <name>
In Linux it's md <name>

It's been that way for over 8 YEARS (Longer in the case of DOS and Linux)

How can you expect to run AN INTERNET SERVER if you can't do basic computer functions??

It'd be like handing someone at Radio Shack a full fledged engineering compound and telling them to build a Ferrari.

Anyway, my point is: Learn the computer FIRST. That'll make everything ELSE a HELL of a lot easier in the long run. Learn the OS, learn basic networking, and (if you get a chance) learn some of the hardware.

Create a new folder and then put the path to that folder in DataPath.cs

Oh in the future don't flame people. Making a folder is really simple.

if the thing in the game wouldnt have called it a "directory" and called if a file i woulda known what to do, i can make files i just thought a directory was some "complex operation" to do in the files

Folder isn't really a file...

i tried adding a fold but i keep gettin this damn error saying that

mkdirstaidx.mul could not be found and ask if im using a directive or an assembly

Did you copy that file to the folder?

Are you sure it gave an error for that file? I have never heard of that file.
